HELP & FAQ

Answers for common account, file, sharing and security questions.

Start with the relevant section below. The guidance is public, so you can troubleshoot many issues without signing in first.

Getting started

Use these answers to solve common Seppuwa.com questions before or after sign-in. For a full signed-in walkthrough, open the dashboard and choose How to Work from the sidebar or the help button.

Account & sign-in

Why do I need email verification?

Email verification confirms that you can access the address attached to the account. It is used during registration and may also be used for security-sensitive account changes or password recovery.

I did not receive an OTP. What should I check?

Confirm the email address, check Spam or Junk folders, wait for the resend timer to finish and request a new code. Do not repeatedly request codes in a short period because automated limits can temporarily block additional requests.

I forgot my password. How do I recover the account?

Open the sign-in page and use Forgot Password. Follow the email verification flow to set a new password. If you suspect unauthorized access, review active devices and security activity after signing in again.

Why was I signed out?

Sessions can end because of logout, expiry, inactivity policies, password or security changes, remote session termination, browser storage changes or security checks. Sign in again using the normal login page.

Files, previews & uploads

What types of files can I store?

The workspace is designed for general file storage. Browser preview support is narrower than storage support, so some file types can be stored and downloaded even when they cannot be previewed directly in the browser.

Why will a video, document or image not preview?

The browser may not support the file format, media codec or safe in-browser rendering method. Download the original and open it with an application that supports the format. A failed preview does not automatically mean the stored file is corrupted.

Can I upload a whole folder?

Folder upload is available on supported browsers. Browser and mobile support varies, so if folder selection is unavailable, upload the files individually or use a browser that supports directory selection.

What happens if I close the browser during an upload?

An active upload can be interrupted. Keep the page open until the upload manager reports completion, especially for larger files or slower connections.

Sharing

How do share links work?

The account owner creates a link for a specific document or supported folder workflow. The link can have an expiry and may also use password protection. Anyone with valid access information can potentially open the shared content until the link expires or is revoked.

Why did a shared link stop working?

It may have expired, been revoked by the owner, reached an applicable access restriction or refer to content that is no longer available. Ask the document owner to create a new link if access is still required.

Should I send the share password with the link?

For sensitive content, use separate communication channels when practical. Sending a protected link and its password together through the same insecure message reduces the benefit of password protection.

Security & permissions

Why does Seppuwa.com request Location permission?

Location is optional and can be used with login history to help you recognize where a sign-in happened. You can decline the browser permission and continue using normal account and document features.

Why does the site request camera permission?

Camera access is only relevant to features that need it, such as document scanning or face-verification workflows. Your browser or device makes the final permission decision.

What is Emergency Face Login?

It is an optional recovery security feature that can combine a live face check with a separate Emergency PIN. It should be configured only by the account owner and does not make it safe to share your normal password, OTP or PIN with anyone.

What should I do if I see an unknown device?

Change your password, review Security Center, end unfamiliar sessions where supported, confirm your recovery email access and check recent activity. Do not approve verification requests that you did not initiate.

Still need assistance?

Use the public Contact page to send a support request. Include a clear description of the problem and the email associated with the account when relevant, but never include your password, OTP, Emergency PIN or biometric information.
