This page explains the rules for using Seppuwa.com, the information used to operate and secure the service, and the choices you have — including the choice to decline optional device Location permission.

Effective: 3 September 2026 · Version: 2026-09-03
Your choice matters.Location is an optional security permission. Seppuwa.com explains the reason before asking the browser for access. You can decline and continue using your account and files.

1. Account registration and eligibility

Provide accurate and current account information. You are responsible for maintaining access to your verification email address and for not creating an account using another person’s identity or information without authorization.

2. Account, password, OTP and device security

Keep passwords, OTP/verification codes, emergency credentials, active sessions, and devices secure. If you suspect unauthorized access, change your password and review your login devices as soon as reasonably possible.

3. Your documents and content

You remain responsible for documents and information you upload, store, organize, scan, or share. You must have the right or permission to store and share that content. Stored documents are designed to remain accessible through your account unless you intentionally use a sharing feature.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use Seppuwa.com for unlawful activity, intellectual-property or privacy violations, malware distribution, unauthorized access attempts, impersonation, interference with service security, or abuse of sharing or account-security features.

5. File sharing and protected links

You are responsible for recipients, passwords, expiry settings, and other sharing choices. People who receive access may be able to view or download a shared file. For stronger protection, avoid sending a protected link and its password through the same insecure channel.

6. Information processed to operate the service

Depending on the features you use, Seppuwa.com may process account details such as name and email, profile information, document metadata, storage usage, account activity, sharing settings, device/session details, security events, and technical information needed to provide, secure, maintain, and troubleshoot the service.

7. Optional device Location permission

Why location is requested

Location can be attached to Login History so you can recognize where a login happened, identify your devices, and notice suspicious sessions more easily.

  • Seppuwa.com shows its own explanation before triggering the browser Location permission request.
  • You can choose Decline. Declining does not block registration, normal login, file access, uploads, downloads, or document management.
  • If you choose Continue, your browser/device still makes the final permission decision.
  • Seppuwa.com does not bypass browser permission and does not substitute IP lookup for precise GPS permission.
  • If permission is granted, coordinates and available accuracy information may be stored with the relevant login/device security record.

8. Camera, Face Login and liveness information

Camera access is requested only when a feature needs it, such as document scanning or face verification. If you enable Face Login or use Emergency Face Login, face-verification and liveness information may be processed to confirm identity and reduce spoofing. Browser/device camera permission remains under your control.

9. Security and service communications

Seppuwa.com may send transactional messages needed for your account, such as verification codes, password-reset messages, security alerts, suspension/reactivation notices, and important service updates. These are operational communications, not optional marketing messages.

10. Service providers and infrastructure

Technical service providers may process limited information on behalf of Seppuwa.com when needed for hosting, storage, databases, email delivery, security verification, and related infrastructure. They should only receive information necessary for the services they provide, subject to the applicable service arrangements and safeguards.

11. Cookies, browser storage and similar technologies

Seppuwa.com may use first-party cookies, local storage, session storage or similar technologies where reasonably necessary for authentication, session continuity, security controls, preferences and core service functionality. If analytics or advertising technologies are enabled, additional identifiers may be processed as described in this Privacy Notice and the Cookie Policy.

12. Google AdSense and third-party advertising

If Google AdSense is enabled, third-party vendors including Google may use cookies to serve ads based on a visitor’s prior visits to Seppuwa.com or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables Google and its partners to serve personalized or non-personalized ads depending on applicable settings, consent signals and legal requirements. Third parties may place or read cookies in a visitor’s browser, or use web beacons, IP addresses or other identifiers as a result of ad serving. Users can manage personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings. Learn more about how Google uses information from partner sites and apps.

13. Retention and deletion

Account, security, file, and session records may be retained for the period reasonably needed to operate the service, protect accounts, meet technical or legal requirements, resolve disputes, or enforce service rules. Some records may remain in backups or security logs for a limited period after account or file changes.

14. Security limitations and user responsibility

Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards may be used, but no online service can guarantee absolute security or uninterrupted access. Use strong passwords, protect devices, review sharing choices and login history, and keep independent backups of important or irreplaceable files.

15. Suspension, termination and abuse prevention

Access may be limited, suspended, or terminated when reasonably necessary to protect users or the service, respond to suspected abuse or security threats, comply with legal obligations, or address material violations of this agreement.

16. Changes to the service or notice

Features, limits, interfaces, and this notice may change as Seppuwa.com evolves. Material updates may be communicated through the website, account interface, or registered email address. The effective date and version shown on this page identify the current published notice.

17. Contact and questions

For questions about your account, security, privacy, or this agreement, use the public Contact & Support page. Never send your password, OTP/verification code, Emergency PIN, or biometric information in a support message.
